Mental Health Service

The doctors and nurses in the Waterford Medical Centre aim to provide holistic health care, looking after our patients physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual health needs in a confidential and supportive setting. The mental health of our patients is of utmost importance and care for in an empathetic and caring manner.

Our services are enhanced by referral to counselling psychologists who have a broad range of expertise and experience in dealing with psychological and emotional problems such as depression, anxiety, addiction, eating disorders, sexual abuse and relationship problems. We also have access to an on line Cognitive Behavioural Therapy service called Silvercloud which is free to patients with a GP referral. For more information see: Silvercloud
