
Dr Cherry Cheung

Dr Cherry Cheung, originally from Waterford, graduated in Medicine in 2011 from Trinity College Dublin. She commenced her career in surgery and worked in various surgical specialties. She completed her membership exams in surgery and became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2013.
Dr. Cheung is committed to continuous medical education and completed a post graduate diploma in human factors and patient safety as well as successfully obtaining a Masters in Surgery in 2015.
Dr. Cheung completed the South East General Practice Training Programme and obtained Membership of the Irish College of General Practitioners(MICGP) in 2021.
With her strong surgical background, Dr Cheung is keen to use her surgical skills to provide a range of minor surgical procedures at Waterford Medical Centre. She also has an interest in musculoskeletal medicine, completing a post graduate diploma in the field and competent in the provision of joint injections.
