Dr Sinead Sloan

Dr Sinead Sloan is originally from Dublin and qualified from UCD with honours before completing her GP training in 2001 in Galway. She has worked in Australia and in rural and urban practices in Galway and Dublin and has been living and working in Waterford since 2010.

She is a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners and has a Diploma in Child Health and post-graduate certificates in Palliative Care and Diabetes.

She has a special interest in Women’s health particularly in the areas of pregnancy, antenatal and postnatal care and in breast care. She has experience working in a clinical role in breast care and assessment in University Hospital Waterford for over 4 years. She also really enjoys her longstanding role as a clinical tutor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to UCC students in University Hospital Waterford.

Dr Sloan is committed to medical education, she is currently the ICGP medical education tutor for the Waterford area.
